University of Dental Medicine,Mandalay was first established in 1999, November, 29th at University of Medicine, Mandalay. TheMathematics course at the University of Dental Medicine, Mandalay started in (1999 – 2000 ) academic year with (74 ) matriculated students. At that time, it was run by Daw May Nwe Kywe Aye,tutor of the University of DentalMedicine with the help of the staff from the University of Medicine, Mandalay .On 11th December 2000, theUniversity was moved to 62nd street, Myothit, Chan Mya Thar Zi Township, Mandalay. On 11th April 2000, the present Head Daw Lwin Min Min Aye became Lecturer and Head of the MathematicsDepartment of the Dental Medicine , Mandalay. The Department now has a head, onetutor staff . It is run by the present Head Daw Lwin Min Min Aye and the staffmembers, Mathematics is taught as asubject only to the first year
